Blueface reacts to controversy surrounding around his on-again, off-again partner Chrisean Rock, who was recently spotted smoking weed while pregnant
The turbulent relationship between Blueface and Chrisean Rock has frequently been a topic of conversation over the past several months, with headlines typically covering the pair engaging in online-spats that lately have been in regards to Rock's pregnancy.
Recently, Rock's pregnancy has been up to discussion once again with a viral video of her appearing to smoke weed in a car. The footage caused quite a stir across social media, with reactions varying between those scolding a pregnant Rock for using a drug while others came to her defense, claiming that using marijuana is not a threat to the child.
Blueface of course had a response to the situation, but to the surprise of many, he actually defended his former girlfriend.
In a pair of tweets, the LA rapper claimed that "Lots of women smoke weed until their last trimester there is no effect don’t shoot the messenger" and "I'm only tweeting the truth whether its in her favor or not I'm not bias".
Chrisean has yet to offer a response to those critical of her or Blueface directly.
Depsite Blueface having his notions of what constitutes as a problem when smoking weed while pregnant, the CDC states that the use of any THC-substances while carrying an unborn child can have detrimental effects to the baby.
Perhaps a certain degree of criticism towards Chrisean Rock is necessary, though we can all still take note of the rarity behind Blueface being for his ex-girlfriend for once.
