Cardi B Admits to Throwing Speaker at Rah Ali During Cannes Airport Altercation

The long-running feud between Cardi B and Rah Ali, which dates back to 2018, has flared up once again, this time overseas. The rapper recently admitted to getting into an altercation with Ali in an airport in Cannes, France.

Their feud began seven years ago at a New York Fashion Week afterparty, reportedly over tensions involving Nicki Minaj. The infamous altercation is still a topic of debate to this day.

After the most recent altercation in France, Cardi went to X to discuss what had happened and confessed that she had thrown a speaker at the TV personality.

Cardi B detailed the recent altercation during a livestream. “If you thought I was going to let that sh*t fly, you out of your fcking mind,” she said. “I can’t live and die knowing that somebody did put they hands on me and I never did nothing back. B*tch, I’m from the Bronx, you from the Bronx. You know what’s up.”

According to Cardi, the tension began when Ali was staring at her, prompting Cardi to confront her. “So that’s when I threw a JBL speaker on her head,” she admitted. “And she said, ‘You feel better about yourself?’ She’s acting like she’s gonna fight, but she wasn’t really like aggressive.”

Cardi said security stepped in before the situation could escalate further.

Ali has addressed the incident on X as well, claiming it did not occur. "I will always be ready to protect myself at all cost, however at this stage in my life I’m not interested in making poor choices," she wrote. "Anything and everything I execute is thoroughly calculated. With that being said, had anyone in this whole world hit ME in my head with a speaker, you in fact would be viewing footage of me in handcuffs. I promise to God that did not happen."

She then concluded the series of posts with "If it makes her feel better, I encourage you all to support that version. Mentally I can handle it, I don’t mind. I will NOT be on this app acting a fool, all updates are on @its_onsite. IG page. Have a successful and peaceful day."
