It seems as though competition and rivalry in the rap industry are at an all-time high right now. Rappers Future and Gunna are currently the latest pair at odds. In a series of tweets suspected to be aimed at each other, the two artists were seen throwing subliminal shots at one another. Posting via Instagram Gunna announced the release of his new project. He is currently gearing up to release his new album ONE OF WUN and it is set to drop this Friday, May 10th.
Future then posted to his X account (formerly Twitter) saying, F--k yo album Sh-t ain't slapping like my MIXTAPE. While the rapper mentioned no names those following the two began to piece things together. Shortly after this post Future went on to tweet that he would be dropping his new mixtape PLUTO on May 10th.
Adding his input, Gunna responded in a series of tweets of his own. It looks like the two men are ready for their Friday releases and want the public to know there's no backing down. Both artists will also participate in their respective tours as well. Gunna is currently on his North American leg of the "Bittersweet" Tour and Future and Metro Boomin will kick off their "We Trust You" Tour on July 30th in Kansas City Missouri. Fans of both artists are in for a treat come Friday, May 10th!
