Record label UMC Recordings being sued in regards to West's song "Power"
Kanye West finds himself in trouble with a London music company in regards to his song "Power" that was released 13 years ago. Record label Declan Colgan Music Ltd sues UMG Recordings Inc centres on West's song "Power". It was found recently, that the song "power " by Kanye West" contained a "sample" from the song " 21st Century Schizoid Man" by the group King Crimson. Record label Declan Colgan claims that UMG has not properly accounted to the (Declan) in respect of the royalties due for the exploitation of the "Power" recording.
