Lebron James has teamed up with Eminem to add yet another project under his SpringHill belt. The two have teamed up with many other influential beings in the industry to bring viewers the trailer for the two-part documentary "How Music Got Free” an adaptation of Stephan Witt's 2015 book. The documentary which premiered two months ago at SXSW sheds light on the shift that took place in the early 2000s, altering the way music listeners consumed music. While watching the trailer, viewers witness the pivotal role of technology in the distribution of music during the rise of the CD era.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "How Music Got Free” features interviews with some of music and entertainment's major figures such as Eminem, 50 Cent, Rocsi Diaz, Timbaland, Jimmy Iovine, Rhymefest, and Steve Stoute. Rapper and actor Method Man is also believed to be the narrator. The documentary will be available to stream on Paramount+ on June 11 in the U.S. and Canada and will be released on June 12 in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
