Chuck D recently revealed in an interview 2Pac having once shown his loyalty to Public Enemy through getting into a confrontation with an alleged studio-thief
While appearing in a Sway in the Morning show for an interview, Chuck D shared a story regarding his old friend, the deceased rap legend 2Pac.
Chuck states that Pac had accompanied him on tour, still a rookie at the time and hoping to show off his skills on stage. However, after supposedly catching someone trying to steal their equipment while backstage, the soon-to-be All Eyez On Me legend took matters into his own hands to deal with the perpetrator.
Chuck explains, "Quick story about 'Pac: we were in Oklahoma City one time, and somebody went and stole stuff out of the backstage. I think they stole some equipment — a hat, whatever — and they found the dude. And they said, ‘Is this the dude?’ And ‘Pac said, somebody told him that was the dude. And ‘Pac went upside this dude’s head. I said, ‘Yo, ‘Pac, it’s not that deep man. But ‘Pac wanted to prove, ‘Listen, I’m ridin’ for y’all!’ Well, ‘Pac, we don’t want you to get arrested in OKC, man, it’s alright."

New stories about 2pac have been coming to light as of late, including a rare interview recently surfacing in which the West Coast legend revealed his desire to potentially move away from music and get into acting. Bit by bit, the public is getting to know more about what went on in the mind Tupac Shakur; unfortunately, we can only continue to receive such information from unseen interviews and secondhand stories and not from the rap-legend himself due to his untimely demise.
