Riri Hearing Our Prayers?

In recent interview with British Vogue, Rihanna shared how she has been adjusting to be a mother as well as the potential for a new album arriving this year

Motherhood has become a new priority for Rihanna, but that does not appear to necessarily appear to mean that new music is a long way out. In a recent interview with British Vogue (http://bitly.ws/AmvH), the Barbadian singer and face of Fenty spoke of how "legendary" being a mother has been thus far, but that she indeed wishes to release new music this year.

"I want it to be this year...Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos," she stated.

Riri's next and ninth album would be following ANTI (2016), a project that she called in the interview her "most brilliant album" and the "cohesive album [she] ever made". She also declared that given its quality, she will not release any new music unless she believes it surpasses than what she accomplished with ANTI.

Rihanna recently performed in stellar halftime show for the 57th Super Bowl, to which she left the world shocked and gleeful over the reveal of her being pregnant with her second child with rapper ASAP Rocky.

While a new album has yet to arrive from the hit singer and fashion mogul, Rihanna did deliver an original song in the form of "Lift Me Up" for the soundtrack on the 2022 superhero film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
