Gangsta Boo's cause of death has been officially revealed, several months after the Memphis artist's death

Gangsta Boo's cause of death has finally been revealed, approximately six months after the Three 6 Mafia's death on New Year's Day..
According to reporting from Action News 5 and per autopsy report, the Memphis rapper, real name Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, had died due to overdosing cocaine, ethanol, and fentanyl. She was 43 years old.

A posthumous-album release is slated for August 7th, the same date as Mitchell's birthday. The artists announced to be involved are Latto, Skepta, La Chat, Run The Jewels, and Crunchy Black. Drumma Boy, El-P, and Nick Hook are attached to produce, with Metro Boomin, BeatKing DJ Paul and Juicy J rumored to be involved as well.
Emmet Flores, Mitchell's partner and Marriage Boot camp co-star, recently started a clothing line in honor of Gangsta Boo, with 90% being distributed towards Mitchell's mother and the remaining percent going towards paying the tuition of students at the Memphis’ Stax Music Academy.
"My baby is loved by people everywhere, and it all started at home with us," Mitchell's mother declared in a statement. "That’s so amazing to me. It makes me smile ear to ear. God brought her home to be with her daddy Cedric and her brother Derron."
Continuing: "I miss her, but I know she’s happy with them. I’ll always remember telling her, GO GET THEM DOLLAS, but I had no idea how many people would love my baby girl. I’m grateful all y’all support my daughter. Thank you."
Needless to say, the loss of Gangsta Boo's was and continues to be felt by fans and inspired-artists alike, but there are at least efforts being taken to memorialize her legacy and keep her impact on the music industry alive.
