Summer Jammin'

Summer Jam 2023 was chock-full of performances that lead to another yet another memorable concert experience

This past weekend, the 2023 Hot 97 Summer Jam proved to be yet another successful installment in the almost-20 years since the first festival.

The show started with a bang when DaBaby surprised the crowd by making an appearance after a bit of a messy year, getting the crowd amped with the performance of his new single "Shake Sumn", accompanied by multiple female-dancers.

He then joined the hyped-up crowd to perform his hit "Suge" before giving another performance of "Shake Sumn"

Other hip-hop stars wanted their shot to keep up energy, such as Remy Ma getting to the stage and being joined by French Montana to perform a rendition of "All The Way Up". Cardi B, Latto, GloRilla, 21 Savage, Luh Tyler, NLE Choppa, Queen Naija, Fivio Foreign, and Ice Spice were among the other hit-makers who did their part to bring the house down.

Needless to say, this year's Summer Jam appears to be a success, and as with any other year, next year has the job of stepping up to be even better.
