Teyana Taylor and Damson Idris teamed up with Hennessy for the legendary cognac’s latest campaign entitled, “Made For More.” The multi-hyphenate and actor respectively bring their star power to Hennessy in order to debunk any previous stale perceptions of the brand. The star power of Taylor and Idris, along with the mixability of the cognac, introduces a new, lighter, brighter and fresher visual world for the brand.
"Hennessy is well known everywhere but people don't always know about how versatile it is - how it brings more flavor, depth and complexity to all kinds of cocktails,” said Julie Nollet, Hennessy’s Global Chief Marketing Officer. “Our new ‘Made for more’ campaign is bringing to life this notion of 1+1=3, showcasing the unlimited possibilities and introducing another side of the brand with beauty, fun and open mindedness. It shakes up the brand perceptions and builds on its legacy for a new generation."
After launching in April with activations at J.Cole’s annual Dreamville Festival, “Made For More” includes five new cocktails, showing the “unlimited possibilities,” of how any drink or occasion can easily be made “more” when you add Hennessy.
“When I think of Hennessy I think of my three older brothers, I think of amazing memories,” said Idris. “The visuals are stylish, the films are fun, it’s magic.”
Similar to Idris, nostalgia subdues Taylor’s memory when the cognac is mentioned.
“Even when you…were just a youngin’, and your uncles and aunts were [the one’s] drinking, Hennessy was always a staple,” she told Rolling Stone.
At the helm of visuals are acclaimed director Andreas Nilsson and highly accomplished photographer Micaiah Carter. With Teyana Taylor, Damson Idris, and a creative team at the top of their game, this campaign is sure to leave a lasting impression on cocktail enthusiasts everywhere.
