Nikola Jokic has left many in awe over his performance in the NBA Championship as well as his MVP Award win, but he personally seems more interested in going home
Nikola Jokic has been putting in work through this past NBA season, finishing strong with his first championship-which ended up being a win for him and the Denver Nuggets against the Miami Heat-and scoring himself an NBA Finals MVP Award.
However, amidst all of the accolades and excitement, he seems more interested in finally heading back home to Serbia and is more than willing to forego any festivities.
When asked if he was excited about the championship parade, Jokic gave a blunt answer in the form of "No, I need to go home."
Judging from Jokic's general conduct ever since the Nuggets' win, such his calm demeanor when drinking the popped champagne while his teammates showered the vicinity with the drink, the ballplayer seems content with the win he and his team has earned, but perhaps would rather celebrate in the comfort of his home with his family.
