Young Thug's Bro Behind Bars

Young Thug's brother Unfoonk has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for violating his probation in the YSL-RICO case

Rapper and Young Thug's brother Unfoonk, aka Quantavious Grier, was recently (June 5th) sentenced to 9 years in prison amidst the YSL-RICO case.


According to WSB-TV, Grier had been arrested on May 4 in Atlanta for possessing a firearm while having already been convicted as part of the YSL-RICO case on charges violating the RICO act and theft. Based on those charges, he had been sentenced to 12 years in prison with 2 years commuted and the other 10 to be served as parole.

However, after his recent arrest, which occurred when he was stopped by police officers in plain-clothes while in his black SUV, for they claimed they had stumbled upon a possible drug deal and moved in to investigate. The officers noticed the windows being tinted and there being a smell of marijuana in the air, both in violation of Georgia law.


These charges, including the possession of a gun by a convicted felon, being associated with a criminal gang, and having traffic offenses lead to Grier ultimately being dealt his new prison sentencing.

Grier recieved his charges regarding the YSL-RICO case alongside his brother Young Thug and others in the group. Currently, Gunna has avoided prison-time through accepting a plea deal, while Young Thug is awaiting his trial in jail.
